Designed by Tom Kellogg and produced by Ross, this 292s signature series is a quiet testament to good design and build quality. Ross was comparable to Schwinn, manufacturing bicycles from 1950 to 1989 and for a short time during the 1980′s made some quality bicycles with Ishiwata steel frames and higher end components. This 1985 292s sports the “Golden Arrow” Shimano group, 27 inch wheels, and a dinky bike computer we’d promptly dispose of after purchase. It’s located in Vienna, Virginia and priced at $170.
